There is the option to Hire the Whole Hall for the whole day or part of the day. Once you have decided on the room that would best suit your requirements you will need to contact the Booking Clerk (see Contact Us page)
The Village Hall does has different rooms to hire. Thus, on
occasions, there are multiple events taking place. At these times it may be necessary to share the Kitchen and other facilities.
Do please check the availability of the hall by clicking on the left side of this page where indicated. On contacting the booking clerk, you will be required to provide: -

Please note there is a Minimum age of 18 on all Hirers.
The booking is deemed provisional until the Application form is signed and returned to the booking clerk. On receipt of the correctly completed form by the booking clerk the hirer enters in to a Legal contract with the Management Committee where by the Terms and Conditions will be adhered to. About 4 weeks before the event an Invoice will be raised for the Hire Charges. A deposit of £100 will be required if an event includes the service or provision of alcohol. This deposit will be paid in to our bank. Deposits are returned the week after an event has taken place provided that no damage has occured. All payments must be sent to the booking clerk at least two weeks before the event.
If the hirer intends to sell alcohol at an event then a Temporary Event Notice will be required and the booking clerk will be provide the appropriate forms that are required by Wealden District Council. It is not required to apply for an alcohol licence if alcohol is provided to guests but not sold.
